“The Recycled Racer”
This is Hardcore Horsepower’s in-house test vehicle that we use to prove the performance potential of our products. It was built to run the 1/4-mile in the PSCA (Pacific Street car Association) 10.60-Index Class a few years ago when we were still in California. We built the car for very little cash, (note the Rustoleum Primer paint job!). It works well, consistently running very close to its index. The car has been featured in numerous magazines and was also featured on Horsepower TV running a ZEX nitrous plate system in the show’s first episode filmed in the new Franklin, TN facility in 2006.
